I know it has been forever since I posted! But, Blogger was acting ridiculous. But, I do have pictures from my last two weekends in Moscow.
This was over the Tsarina's enterance... It is a bit odd, no?
#Selfie... I have found a few downsides to traveling alone - no one to take pictures with/of is one of them
#Selfie with the Tsarina's door
Look at that cool roof
Tsarina's door- a better look
Why don't we build with these colors anymore? They are so beautiful!
Gold Statue at the top of the roof
I want a ferris wheel in my courtyard... oh right, I'd need a courtyard for that first...
Info: Russian on top, English on the bottom
View from the dull side before I realized it had a cooler side
#Selfie
Going out to the park. No one else saw my outfit but y'all
These cool statues were in the Metro. Last week I was extremely early for church just because of the way things got set up so, I spent about 2 hours just riding the metro back and forth :)
Every time I get on one of these escalators it makes me sick. They are so steep.
On my walk to church:
I think that is supposed to be Lenin's head... The building was for him...
#First week at church #Selfie
View from the apartment at night. I love looking at cities at night - it is like stars on earth.
There is a square toilet in the apartment... I just had to share.
Everyone in Moscow parks ridiculously and it isn't against the law, or at least no one gets ticketed. Yes, that is a whole line of cars parked halfway in the road and halfway on the sidewalk.
There is a mini shopping center by the apartment.
I just liked this graffiti .
Day view from the apartment. I'm on the 16th floor.
My first toy from a kinderegg! I have no idea what it is. I was disappointed.
Those are the adventures of my last two weekends. Life at home is getting to a normalcy now. I have a schedule. TWFSa I work 10 am - 2:30 pm and then 6 pm - 8 pm and Thursday I work 10 am - 11 am then 6 pm - 9 pm. The girls have swimming lessons on Thursdays.
The other day Little A said the funniest thing (at least it was funny to me and probably will be to the rest of my family). It was in Russian but I understood. We are eating dinner and she turns and stares at me for a little bit then turns to her mom and goes "Kelsey really likes water." and her mom glances at me and replies: "Yes, she does." It made me laugh. Yes, Little A, most people notice I really like water.
I've decided that since I have so much free time, I'm going to do a DayZero list. Here is the link if anyone wants to see that: http://dayzeroproject.com/user/kamostert4/list/69885
I'm so excited to do so many things on my list.
