So, this weekend I'm going to be in the city. I and Al have an apartment there, so, I'll stay there on the weekends so I can go to church. I spent all morning (while I and the girls were at the pool) figuring out how to get from the apartment to school... the closest metro station from the apartment is a 2 hour walk so, while the metro was easy the bus system was hard for me. Blehg. But it will be nice to see the city even if it is freezing. It is about -5 F here. So, I'm glad I have my new coat.
Tonight for dinner we had these delicious little chickens. However, I would consider I to be a very brave mother letting the girls eat the little chickens. There were bones everywhere! I almost ate some bones and I kept stabbing my gums with little bones. It tasted good but was extremely hard to eat.
A finally let me read books to her in English today. She likes Dr. Seuss' Mr. Brown Can Moo Can You? So does N. But she still prefers to only look at her favorite books. We did lots of puzzles today, which was fun. It was also hard because the girls had mixed six puzzles together so that was actually a fun task for I and me as well as A to work on. N got bored and left. Then we did a puzzle of 120 pieces of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. I was so proud because I remembered all of their names!
A learned how to say some colors today but I doubt she'll remember them tomorrow. Repetition ! Repetition! Repetition!
